CoolSpeed Flex

Revolutionary patented spindle technology for rotation speed up to 80,000 rpm

Designed specifically for Swiss Machines, CoolSpeed Flex is a new type of high speed, turbine-driven spindle that features an adjustable number of jets. This innovative new design allows the Flex to operate on machines with coolant flow as low as 2 gal/min (8 l/min).

With Flex, the cutting tool shank serves as the spindle shaft, pressed between two bearings and a turbine. The coolant pressure drives the spindle speed, and the RPM can be monitored using the Bluetooth Pressure Gage (included in the starter kit) or a standard G1/4″ Pressure Gage. Operators can set the number of jets for optimizing coolant usage, and monitor the RPM in real time from their smart phone via the Apple or Google CoolSpeed app.
